Since Odamex is open source, it will be good idea to backport vid_32bpp mode.

Makes video mode much better, smooth color, better rendering quality.

There's a talk in ZDaemon development 'bout that

http://forums.zdaemon.org/viewtopic.php?t=9375

So far, odamex uses SDL libraries because of portability to run on multiple platforms (Linux ❤).

About ZDaemon... So far i *heard* it already runs in 32 bit mode, however everything is beign palleted to 8 bit EXCEPT some special events, such as color pickup "tint", or some sector colorization that runs behind palleting mechanism...

Aaandd.... the only guy which is rocking with graphic is ....Venom!

You need to learn more about open source, permissive vs. copyleft licensing, etc. The short answer is "forget about using any code coming from a project with a non-permissive license"; we're not going over licensing issues again.
