With something like that, I believe a chimpanzee could be trained to play Doom. When it is a matter of pulling levers to reach a desired outcome, a simple mind can make that happen. When it is a matter of fine motor reflexes involving the hands, a monkey-type mind can make that happen. When it is a matter of cognition, of remembering cues and the situations in which to perform a certain behavior... there needs to be a repetitive reward schedule and plenty of 1 on 1 social interaction to teach something like a chimpanzee to play Doom. I think that is at least feasible.

I think the government should train a chimpanzee to play Doom. It is totally possible with something simple like that, just a bunch of levers or buttons. Fuck keyboards and mice, monkeys don't have time for that shit.
