clan chronic does not want to be apart of this project. We aren't trying to be arrogant, we are just doing things the way we always have. i wish we didnt even have a website.

I didnt think this would be an issue as long as none of us replied to this thread, but then ganja did. so ganja, stfu and join #chronic! and talk to the rest of us.

Hey Rat-Arsed,

I guess you can count the [UniTec] clan in. We're not very established yet, but it can't hurt to be part of the CSC. Our site is located at http://www.unitec.devisland.net/ . You can contact me via e-mail or aim s/n: Pickle965 to fill me in on whats involved.

Special benefits, I thought that was a joke but its obviously arrogance, just because you have a respected clan and have mod status doesn't give you rights to demand anything that benfits over others.

I'm not quite sure why one wouldn't want to participate in this either. What possible harm can it do to anyone (short of doing something dumb like putting email addresses in normal form on a web page)? It's just some advertising of your existence.

We're short of coders, as our effort is going into creating our new LG site. As soon as that is finished coding will be started on the CSC page (the design and specification is done.

From what I saw, nice artwork but that gets a big fat NO. Popups and GAIN advertising prompts are annoying, you should attempt to find a host with no form of advertising on it.

i wasn't advertising a host. i was just putting my site on DISPLAY. also, its not my problem that you dont have any pop-up blocking software.

This is what I hate. I and every other normal person out there are sick of setting up filters to block this crap. ZDaemon is one of the only places that doesn't allow links to sites with ad's and popups, especially for those aksing you to install un-needed software.

Hmm well, sorry to bring the topic back on track, but there have been developments. I have done the design for the CSC hub page (to it's simplistic yet attractive specification) and I am trying to encourage Mamtech team to work on the dynamic aspects of it. We at LG have friends who are willing to begin work pretty soon also, and CSC will approach functional status when a dent has been made on the coding side. Now that our site production is out of the way, this can start to kick in.

Now with CTF support done and useable, extra design aspects can overide old ones, and we shall take it back to design phase to accomodate for these invaluable additions to zdaemon.

Thanks all who are participating and willing to boost zdaemon this much further.
