Highly detailed oldskool maps with great gameplay? From 1998?
Impossible!
Anyways, you're wrong. Much as I like Eternall and EDM, the maps are only barely detailed - they just use pretty textures. It's not the same thing |

I CAME
for one hour but really it's the spirit of the thing that counts. We made it up to 3 vs 3 at times but dropped down again and decided to lend our support to the bustling 3-way CTF server which was going 3 vs 3 vs 3 the whole time.
From what I could appreciate: the sweeping number of sphere powerups, occasional BFG appearance, memorable lift platforms, and sheer verticality of the battleground. |

Me too, babe
Like Cup said, me and him (and By-Zero) played a a few matches of lowish numbers. It was all entertaining though.
Hilariously, I did drop out of the ZDS server to go bug the 3way players to join. There were only 4 of them in the server at the time - which seemed pretty dumb. But they either didn't care, or they no habla ingles. Eitherway, players in ZDS dropped off while, incredibly, theirs increased! So we cut our losses and carried on the party over there.
Which was no bad thing at all
...but yeah, everything Cup said about the EDM maps stands. Much fun!!! |
