Console often gets flooded with information like "picked up a medikit", multiple death messages, etc: mostly pretty useless stuff that you wouldn't want to re-read. What people probably use the console for most of the time is to read the chat messages that they missed or couldn't read in time before they disappeared. So I think it would be great if there was an option to make the console show nothing but chat messages so that people wouldn't have to scroll through lots of uninteresting messages to find what they are looking for.

And, somewhat related: a button to go up/down by 15 messages or so would be nice too because if you, for example, use DUMPSPAWNABLES command, it takes some time to scroll through the results...

True, using the mouse scroll to read console messages up/down or using PAGE UP / PAGE DOWN is something that'll help people.

Anyway, I agree with memfis, but the main problem would be the message priority...

Oh, so that's pretty much what I wanted! Thanks, I guess this thread can be closed then. Smile

I knew you could set "minimum level", but was unsure if that was reflected in the console messages also.

Good stuff to know!
