Sorry to be right in the delirium with challenges, but since Mania5 wanted to discontinue our challenge, I still have not had a resulting challenge.
Fraglimit : 50
Server : BaseQ.fr - Duel #1
Best Out Of 5
-------------------------------------------
Current score : Noosphere 3-1 Marin3 (150-131)
-------------------------------------------
#1 Lazarus : Noosphere 50-27 Marin3
#2 Mood : Marin3 50-0 Noosphere (forfeit)
#3 Judas23 : Noosphere 50-24 Marin3
#4 King1 : Noosphere 50-30 Marin3
-----------------
We were playing Mood as our second game but I had to interrupt the game because L@P did spend all my shots through his sprite. We'll continue this on baseQ.fr![/url]
[03/05/2013]
There is 2 demos from Judas, because after our Judas23 game we realized we were playing with a 40 fraglimit setting.
Demos from my POV.
Unfortunately Marin3 didn't reccorded the games.
GGs Marin3

Seriously? You just beat the guy by +23 and yet you demand a home server advantage for remaining games? Just wow.
Also, this. You pretty much forfeited your moo2d game. |

No, it's just that L@P Servers are seriously unhittable.
I've made the experience too as well as other EUR players. |

Yes. He asked for home server after, apparently, quitting game in middle of it. No amount of dropshots will justify that.

Oh, players are whining about servers now? Crazy. |

Oh, so in this case, we should rectify something:
You are right for the server choice; if the challenge was started somewhere, it must be ended at the same place, except if the server has important issues or ping unstability, which can lead to another place, both chosen by the challenged and the challenger. |

L@P should be the standard for players from western europeans to fight eastern europeans or middle europeans, none of this home servers or w.e. Home servers really died with 1.08, they aren't needed for euro wars anymore |

Ch0ww, at least the map should be completed there. That's a no-brainer. If I left at 35-49 against Selami, because of "drop shots" would he go like "yeah sure mate, lets disregard the game and we'll play on your server for sure, also i'ma paypal you some money so you can get decent connection as well". I don't think so.
Seriously though, it's up to the players, if they want to switch rules in middle of the challenge. But quitting is definitely not okay. And Selami is clearly bullying and taking advantage of Marin3, who will play anywhere, anytime, because he doesn't care one bit for the drama. |

You sure have demos to back up that claim.
Sounds more like a master-ish excuse to me. |

True, at least, that's a good thing if a map is finished before raging or whatever, I also agree. Else, it's a direct point for the player who didn't quit.
But wait... Challenging someone who doesn't come at least here to comment on, or whatever... It's way more than taking advantage of him... That's play abuse. |

Why did you state in the first line of the challenge the server was to be baseq.fr then go and play on l@p? Surely Marin3 either decided he wanted to play on l@p and you agreed otherwise why change? Plus like G said you were winning by a lot so it can't have affected that much as much as we all miss Masters French soap opera just play the game |

Apart from challenging your assertion (ie., my shots drop in that server so I refuse to play), I don't understand something: where did you agree to play the games? that's usually specified upfront. If you agreed to play them at one place and you don't, that's a forfeiture no matter what you argue. |

I'll play devil's advocate and say that even though quitting mid-challenge isn't certainly the best attitude, the "why did you play in that server if you knew it's bad" statement doesn't make much sense either. L@P continously gets random seizures, so it seems playable for let's say the first 2 minutes of the match(supposedly spent testing is server is alright), suddenly becomes balls for the next 5 minutes, returns ok for another 2-3 minutes and this goes on in an endless loop(this costed me several matches even though they were just casual, so i kinda feel his frustration for losing a challenge-related match because of this kind of server issues) |

oh fair enough i guess he wanted to give his best performance without being affected by lag or something, it would be cool if he hosts a demo to better understand his situation |

Look it's not as if i was losing this round before asking to change the server - It was 21-20 till I interupt the game, that doesn't make him frustrated of the score.
Also, before our first game begins we were thinking of either go to BaseQ or keep with L@P. Anyway, think i'm bullying on him but you have clearly no idea what the screenshots show. To make the things fair i've let him picking his map again instead of continue our midgame game. I don't mind the forfeit. |

Screenshot shows you had better ping and you still whine about not playing in France. Stay classy, Selami. |

Yeah, right, but when you have some packets that didn't reach the server, it's all different.
Oh and btw, I did not have a better ping.
Anyway I forfeited mood, can we now all stop there. |

I'm not taking sides selami but it doesn't look like you had all this great trouble on that demo, maybe a couple of dropped shots but that's about it. Perhaps the situation was worse on moo2d(I don't get why you didn't upload that one instead of laz anyway) but whatever |

But as L@P's just been upgraded, do these issues remain? |
