This week, we'll play Black Rose CTF 2 with a small fix of the plasma, I am very excited about this session, but I have to say, Have fun :D

Worst reported that this crashed his zd b27, yet my zd was fine when running this on b27. Fine with older version of this wad too. Anybody else experiencing a crash? Hope it's alright cause this wad is awesome-o.

It crashes when you hit anything with modified plasmagun. Just fire it while standing close to a wall and you'll see it.

Then again, isn't this what plasmafix_wnf46.wad is meant for? It restores the normal plasmagun, hence no crashing. Haven't noticed anything else what could crash ZDaemon so far.

If it works with plasmafix that's great. It works without it for me though hah, dunno what's going on. Worst did you run the wad with your own fix? Smile

i have the same problem with the plasma modified and i told to evo and repared with this plasmafix works fine :)

I really wish I'd payed attention to exactly what was being run here, and been able to vet it before the night.

Idk where Edwart was looking, but BlackRoseCTF2 is not the latest or best version of the pack. We ran a much better version (blkrsectf) back on ZDS #130. Differences:
18 maps (instead of 13)
Normal weapons - no more buggy plasma
Map fixes
Only 20meg instead of 40meg!

Maybe the later version can be run some other time?

GGs anyway, on some quite decent maps Smile

Very nice sesh, and yeah seeing as there's a newer version unnoticed by everybody but the shark, we'll run that bad boy soon enough.
