You didn't read my previous post, did you spacepirate?

Sorry guys, you won't get to see a brown map from me; I know you're all very disappointed. |

is there no way to transfer the files from the collectors edition from somewhere else. Like put it on a computer preferably networked n share it. One with a cd drive which actually works or use a mate computer and put it on a memory stick if you have one. |

I keep ZD, ST, IDE, TS, and Doom2,wad on a flashdrive at all times.
I mean, theres also DB2, 7zip, Steam portable, and a few other programs, so in case I was somewhere away from my computer, I could play on someone else's. Basically my MUST HAVE programs are on a flashdrive. |

Quick question:
I'm using XWE, will that be a problem? I'm still stuck in the 90s, I use WA/XWE combo to create my maps. I've also used a good amount of custom textures/flats as well as a different midi than the default d_runnin entry (as I imagine most have). The next thing I wanted to ask was if you'd prefer me to zip all of the textures and flats in a separate folder along with the midi with the wad? Would that make it easier on you guys or does it not matter?
-EDIT-
It's not done but the layout is pretty much finished. I'm in the process of detailing and for me, that takes quite a bit of time because I'm very picky on how I want my design to come off. I can offer one screen shot of what I've got so far, it's not much though:
It looks somewhat stale so far but it will come together in time. You can kind of get a feel for the theme I'm designing here so I'm hoping it all comes together well! |

I guess it won't :>
As long as the wad isn't corrupted it's fine.
I'm also using XWE, as well as Doom Builder 1.68. Ftw.
Map has been submitted to Worst. |

I like the subtle British Petroleum reference in this map.
I'm just waiting for a midi for my map. |

Quiksilver wrote: | Okay, so I want to bump this. My sequencer is shot. I could use a software one, but the ones that I like woud cost me, and I honestly am not feelin it with midi right now. I know I owe some of you some, but either going to have to use my controller and hand make them, or I could offer you music in another format. This would normally seem bad, but I made one for silvertear that was fantastic, and it came in at just over 2 mb.
Its really angering, but I hope you guys can understand. I am still making music quite often, but my future as a midi artist looks bleak. I'm pulling over what I have left to my new laptop, from where I can still edit and arrange what I have to hopefully donate the tracks I have, which, to by quite honest, won't fit the bill for any medival themed, or heretic, or really, typical doom music. Its all mostly electronic chill sounding.
Anyway, let me know either way. If you can handle a 2-4 mb sound file for your maps, I'm willing to still compose for you. If not.... well.....

hah! I didn't connect the dots, but thats funny! maybe have to make a black colored version of the blue/green liquid textures and flats. good stuff.
And yea, I like I said, my midi abilities are shot. I should've PM'd you but honestly, since I volunteered for a few peoples music, I figure just make a public post instead of PMing all those people would be better. |

DUDE there is not enough room for that in my map, not even in the size grid to build everything in DoomBuilder
And good! Atleast I have one vote hehe. |

I've peeked at a few maps so far and there's some fresh stuff here. I'm not planning on contributing anything to this but I am eagerly anticipating the finished, compiled pack. :> |
