In this thread, you can submit wads to be used for future weeks of ZDS. However, before submitting a wad, please keep in mind that although we do like and appreciate the 'classic' wads, we are trying to give some newer wads notoriety. Some guidelines when submitting a wad:
- The wad has to have a minimum of 10 maps. This is to ensure that games last longer than 10 minutes .
- The wad can be old or new
Exceptions will be made, especially for kooky, new, or underplayed stuff.
EDIT: Rygrass asked for this and it helps me out too, so here's a list of everything we ran so far:
King of the Hill:
dwango11 +dwango11_koth1, zdctf +zdctfkoth part I & II, 3waymadness-ctf-v5 +3waymadness-ctf-v5koth, zdctfmp zdctfmp2 zdctfmp3- zdctf_bsides- (+zds421_addon zdctfkoth)
It's not a stand-alone wad, so it would have to be an add-on to a ctf wad, or ffa or whatever. But I've always like the sneaky.wad. It's just a different set of skins, but the skins are things like ammo clips, medkits, and barrels.

Scythe just passes out of the range of newly-mintèdness, being four years, four months, and eight days old. It's also kinda questionable as to whether the Cybercrime series really counts as obscure, which was mentioned in th'other thread.
I'd like to see EQ's Spirit of CTF get play at some point; the map is awesome like that.

.... dude.. you have no idea how nerdy that sounded
Another suggestion it's KTC, there is only 1 server by WOLF and ping kinda suaks. Anyway I think it should be played in a session so it can advertise : )

oh i guarantee Adereth knew exactly how nerdy that sounded (and could tell you to the nearest decimal place i'm sure)
i'll second the calls for Legendary, Sniperwarz and Deathball.
Cybercrime doesn't have much US support i guess. maybe run CC1/2 as a TDM?
Spacepirate has good choices too (albiet biased ones )
what did i say before in the other thread...?
SpoilerCTF, ZDCTF with railguns, TLSX without, CrazyCTF and ZDUCTF with sensible rotations.
TLSDM2 TDM (or FFA)
some others i'd like to see dusted off are:
FFA/TDM-
TLSDM2003/2004 - never get any play anymore
JDITXE - always rocks with a full house
Zodiac - not as big as it should be in the US
CTF-
Barbapapa's CTF (this has been criminally underplayed. the guy released more maps and some bugfixes and it gets played even less! and i'm not sure anyone in the US even knows of its existence)
and y'know, being as it's one year on then some Toke stuff like his own Vex-Zdaemon or quite unknown CTF or maybe the community's TokeTribute WAD.

*OFF*
Who knows what is the reason for nobody plays barbapapa's ctf?I tell you: ZDCTFMP.This wad is too much popular and ppl do not see other ctf's because that.I am wondering how ppl cannot bored by zdctfmp.
Another victim is:
CrazyCTF:
-Excellent maps
-Detailed maps
-Big maps
-A lot of maps
-Oh,and did I mentioned excellent detailed big maps?

yeah MrT, hell i've ranted enough about this. hopefully ZDS will break a few more folks out of their stagnant habits. and maybe i'll try to start a Barba game tonight.
going with Goat's suggestion, idk about insanely high fraglimits, i guess it'd be a big draw with EXP
one thing TUD ran before was FFA with no fraglimit, just a timelimit.
uhmm lessee...
was going to suggest Shinobi's FFA before but i hadn't played it, all i knew was that he seemed to have put a hell of a lot of work into it. finally got around to playing early this am and it rocks!
i'd suggest ABCDM but only if they 'fixed' the railgun...
or what about PlasDM? never seen that played in the US and it has a great variety of maps.

Eh, plasdm(1) is actually irritatingly unbalanced. Just about all of the maps have a horrible learning curve or a control point almost equivalent to camping the BFG on an omgmaps level. plasdm2 would be a higher recommendation.
