hey
i been having propblems lately with my wad
it seems that archvile , spiders can shoot through my walls
i have set it to block everything is there anything else i can do? |

you have to take the area inside of the wall and make it a non-sector. Basically what you'll be doing is taking the area behind your walls and pressing delete. that will make it a non-sector.
Select behind the walls with sector tool -> press delete (del) |

ah okay, well, your walls have no width, so therefore they're just lines that can hold the place of textures and linedef actions.
To make walls, you must make sectors inside of your larger sector that have width and substance. Think about it in realistic terms, how would a wall be paper thin? Y'know? |

Your walls have no thickness. I made the same mistake on my first map, long ago. Just think how useless a wall would be in real life if it was paper thin. You need some space inside the wall that is not part of any room: void space, or as Alfred called it, a non-sector, because there's no sector there.

And do not forget to close your sectors. You can walk over lines you know. |
