In usage of SetActivatorToTarget wrote:

If the tid being referenced is something that has died, the new activator is its killer.

In ZDoom SetActivatorToTarget() works like it described in usage.
In ZDaemon SetActivatorToTarget() returns for dead actor the same target, which it was when actor was alive.
Easy example. SetActivatorToTarget_test.wad
Let Imp and Demon will fight each other. During their fight kill one of them. In ZDoom SetActivatorToTarget() (in the script, which is called by dead monster) will set new activator - Player, in ZDaemon will no change activator - other monster. |
