"Teens react to Doom1"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC7Onhm3tto

My biggest complaint was that they were obviously playing on a pussy ass difficulty level so they weren't able to experience the full intensity of Doom.

I think it's kind of funny that they were using an OpenGL port and the arrow keys rather than WSDA Laughing I'm glad none of them bashed the game or anything though, they all seemed to think it held up rather well considering it's age. That said I was far more enthralled by this game when I was a kid than they seem to be!

No wonder Doomkid. Games nowadays look a lot more realistic. That is what most young people are used to.

But yes, like you said: it was not like they were bashing the game. On the contrary even, they seemed to have a lot of fun playing. Hopefully some of them will consider joining Zdaemon for some more.

Yeah, I was pleased by their responses. They weren't shitting on it like I assumed they would at first, so that was nice.

Still though..."Hurt me Plenty"? Pffsh.

Now we need a video of them reacting to a random speedrun clip involving a player using a keyboard and mouse.

We're going to need a robot to play Doom against some of our players in a future where teenagers only play Doom ironically

The original doom still looks good to me. That game was way ahead of its time and is THE catalyst for first person shooters. All hail doom!

I was 8 when the original doom was released. Used to play it at my neighbor's and uncle's house all the time. Scared the hell out of me but sure was fun! Wink
