Time for another WAD retrospective! This Thursday we will go back to 2007. Alexander "Eternal" S, who won a Cacoward that year, dominates this compilation with a total of 9 selected maps from various wads. But that's not all, we also have 11 other pretty cool levels here, including works by Andy Badorek, Paul DeBruyne, brothers Varun and Karthik Abhirama and others. See you there!

while legality and morality of such a compilation is questionable at best, getting people to know these maps is a noble effort... hm. maybe add original /idgames links to the textfile so they're properly tied to this wad and it looks less like a random rip. :) |

Unfortunately, this is the only way to do this as of now. From what I've heard, functionality to change server wads on the go is in plans. Hopefully it will be added soon and then there will be no legal/moral issues. I hope people understand that this is just a temporary workaround and don't freak out. But really, I don't see why it would offend any of the authors, it's just like having 20 books on the same shelf instead of having a separate shelf for each book. It's done just for convenience, not to insult Cervantes by placing Twilight next to Don Quixote.
I added original links to the textfile per your advice. |

No, it just like having 20 random chapters torn out of books and then re-bound together into a new volume.
That is to say that the maps may not make as much sense out of their original contextual surroundings. |
