There is a small improvement I could suggest into Zlauncher.
For easier tab circulation, we could have a shortcut like this:
"CTRL + 1" = Servers tab
"CTRL + 2" = Favs tab
CTRL + 3 = Buds tab
CTRL + 4 = IRC tab
CTRL + 5 = Forum tab
CTRL + 6 = Home tab
Much easier than clicking on tab and losing some precious seconds |

This does not seem like a good deal.
"Losing some precious hours" implementing it so you can save seconds. |

Well, I can't see any problem about the suggestion.
It was something I remember being talked in zIRC when we were in 1.08.01 that was never implanted (for unknown reasons, maybe the idea was forgotten, or not taken seriously).
Players don't care if it takes hours to implant things, especially when:
- zdaemon is updated after many months / years, so time is not a problem...
- Players love having accessibility, and a very few shortcuts are there.
- There are CTRL + (key) shortcuts, so adding those to the list shouldn't be taking hours, especially when to open tabs (code handling somewhere, I guess) |

It takes a second to click on a tab (if that).
This request is completely unnecessary, and has been rejected.
It will not save any time.
Unfortunately, your post has basically demonstrated how things are taken for granted. |

Why completely unnecessary? I don't see what's unnecessary to switch easily between tabs with some kb shortcuts, unless you can explain to me what's wrong implanting that.
Think about people having habits using kb shortcuts. Think about people having a slow mouse sensitivity on windows/linux. About people having a laptop and no other ways to move mouse using a touchpad.
There are people who aren't a mouse freak (except ingame), and don't like to move a lot the mouse to make quick actions. |

Let's just say you want a glass of milk. If there's milk in the fridge, you just walk over to the fridge and pour yourself some milk. If you need to walk to the other side of town and back for that same glass of milk, you will think twice before you start walking and consider to drink something else.
Between Effort <---> Reward needs to be a balance. The reward has to be big enough, before you consider taking action. In this case, the reward (keyboard shortcuts) is not big enough to motivate the development team to take action (coding hours & hours for the reward). |
